Mollyockett Pony Club (MPC) was founded November 17, 2001 when a group of 6 people who had spent a year together in a different club found themselves in need of a Pony Club in an area where there was none. We are located in South Central Maine and have members from all over the southern part of the NorthEast Region (Maine).

MPC currently has members of all ages and ratings. We hold our mounted meetings at Snowfields, and our unmounted meetings are currently held at the New Gloucester Firehouse. In our club activly compeates in quiz, games, dressage, show jumping, and the d-rally.

Mission Statement
The mission of the United States Pony Clubs is to provide a program for youth that teaches riding, mounted sports, and the care of horses and ponies, thereby developing responsibility, moral judgment, leadership, and self-confidence.

Guiding Beliefs
  • USPC is an educational organization which progressively develops the well-rounded horseperson.
  • The well-rounded horseperson is capable of riding safely and tactfully on the flat, over fences, and in the open.
  • Knowledgeable care of horses and ponies (horse management) is basic to the well-rounded horseperson.
